how to set up the launch pad
Simple 4 step set up to improve your bench.
POSITION
Line up The Launch Pad with the top of the bench.
If you're shorter, position The Launch Pad so that the top extends slightly beyond the top of the bench when lying down for barbell pressing exercises.
For all other upper body movements, ensure The Launch Pad is aligned with the top of the bench.
SECURE
Fasten The Launch Pad securely in place by running the straps through the slots on the upper and lower torso sections and underneath the substructure of the existing bench.
Tighten the straps by pressing down on the cam's lever to open its jaws, pulling the straps through until there's no slack, and releasing the lever to lock it in place.
Finally, give the loose ends of the straps two firm downward tugs to ensure a tight fit.
PROPER BODY POSITIONING
Sit in front of The Launch Pad's lumbar support, not on it.
Align your hips with the edge of the lumbar support, while your butt rests on the standard bench pad.
As you lie back, the lumbar support will fit into the curve of your lower back, guiding you into proper joint alignment and optimal bench press positioning.
