Joint Ops™ preserves conventional bench function and adds a deliberately shaped athlete-to-bench interface.

Use the planar surface for specificity and familiar practice. Select the contoured surface when the objective calls for a different contact relationship.

01 · Clearance

Create more usable space around the shoulders.

The contour is designed to reduce how much of the upper body is boxed in by a full-width pad.

Treat torso, lumbar, and seat as one relationship.

The platform coordinates these contact points instead of treating them as unrelated adjustments.

Defined landmarks instead of improvised setup.

Visible settings are intended to make a chosen setup easier to reproduce.

The defining mechanism

The exercise stays familiar. The active surface changes.

A coordinated setup system

Surface selection is only the beginning.

Back angle, lumbar position, seat angle, and seat travel define the athlete’s relationship to the active surface.

Joint Ops™ is designed to make that relationship visible, selectable, and repeatable.

Carry both surfaces from flat into incline.

Both surfaces remain usable as the back moves from flat through incline.

Current design target: 0°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 75° indexed positions.

Listed positions are current targets. Final ranges, markings, hardware, and geometry remain subject to validation.

No. Joint Ops™ is in DFM refinement and validation. Pricing and availability follow production engineering, supplier economics, quality requirements, and validation evidence. The priority list is not a preorder.
How does the selectable surface work?
The prototype uses a rotating, indexed torso assembly to activate either surface. DFM may change the mechanism while preserving that choice.
What adjusts besides the surface?
The back angle, lumbar section, seat angle, and seat fore-aft position adjust. Final ranges and hardware remain subject to validation.
What stage is the product in, and will production match the prototype exactly?
The integrated prototype is functional and in DFM refinement. Geometry, weight, transport, storage, hardware, finish, attachments, and service features may change before production.
Do The Launch Pad® studies establish Joint Ops™ outcomes?
