8-week NCAA Football Study (30 athletes)
Peer-reviewed randomized controlled trial examining the effects of an eight-week training regimen using The Launch Pad® versus a traditional flat bench on upper-body strength and performance in college football players.
Over the 8-week training period, athletes training on The Launch Pad® demonstrated significantly greater improvements across all major performance metrics compared to the flat bench (control) group.
- Max Strength (1-RM Bench Press): The Launch Pad® Group doubled the strength gains of the Control Group, improving by +42.7 lb compared to +20.1 lb.
- Muscular Endurance (NFL 225-lb Rep Test): The Launch Pad® Group achieved a 75% greater increase in reps, adding +7 reps versus +4 reps in the Control Group.
- Power (Seated Medicine Ball Throw): The Launch Pad® Group showed a 35% greater improvement, with an increase of +8.86 ft compared to the Control Group's +6.56 ft.
